Young Feminist

The Young Feminist Committee exists to address and serve the needs, concerns, interests and issues facing a new generation of feminists.

Targeting and comprised of feminists 30 years old and younger, the Committee seeks to engage in a dialog about what matters to young women today and why feminism is relevant to our future.  Our goal is to encourage participation of young women in NOW's existing activism and to let their leadership shine as we delve into new areas for our organization to become active and remain relevant in an ever-changing world.  Current issues of interest to the Committee include education & empowerment; healthy body image; access to contraception; image of young women in the media; and political activism.
