Guest Author:
Mickey Schulz
Mickey Schulz is a lifelong Feminist, vehemently Pro-Choice, who happens to fall somewhat messily between the "Second" and "Third" waves of Feminism and who feels a deep attraction to both. Having majored in Russian Feminist History, she feels very strongly about the history of Feminism, the good it has done and has yet to do. She is a rape survivor, and outspoken about it so that no one else ever feels as alone as she once did. Fat/Body Acceptance also figures largely in her writing, as do media depictions of gender. She writes a blog on Geek Culture called "Geek Girls Rule!" does a podcast of the same name, and co-hosts another called "Geek Sisterhood." A self-identified, bisexual Geek, she is kind to animals, likes children, and is a snappy dresser.
