California NOW Foundation, in partnership with chapters across the state, has launched the I Heart Consensual Sex campaign. We all know No Means No, but most people don't want to talk about rape. Yet lots of people want to talk about Consensual Sex. This campaign will open up communication about consent, asking and teaching what consent is and how to ask for exactly what you want. Consent is a powerful way to say: "This is my body and I have the right to decide with whom, how, where and when I choose to have sex." So hey, if I'm in the mood and it feels right with you, great! I consent!

Committees are meeting and activists are organizing, because we believe that all sex should be consensual. So, join our "Sex Drive" to bring our consensual sex campaign to college students throughout the state! Take the Consensual Sex Pledge! You can also join us by hosting I Heart Consensual Sex Day at your campus or in your community, or get involved by donating to the campaign! Download a Sex-ACTivist Kit and check out the action ideas, campus petition and discussion questions. Donating is also a great way to show support and will help us order buttons and stickers to distribute at events across the state.
