It is an essential right for all women to have complete control over their bodies.  CA NOWs Women’s Health and Reproductive Justice committee was formed to ensure action on all issues affecting women’s health and to guarantee that our health care issues get adequate research, prevention, early detection tests, access to safe, affordable treatments and insurance coverage. 

Issues include:

• Abortion that is safe, legal, accessible and affordable
• Affordable birth control
• Access to fertility treatment
• Prenatal care and options for safe pregnancy and birth
• Comprehensive sex Education
• Universal Health Care
• Cancer prevention, testing and treatment
• Eating disorders
• Menopause
• Osteoporosis
• Heart Health
• End of life issues
