Where's the News Coverage?

Last Friday, an unknown "chemical irritant" was sprayed through a window into a room of the Islamic Society of Greater Dayton where children and babies were being kept during services to celebrate Ramadan. Those attending services,including Iraqi refugees, suffered from tearing, coughing and shortness of breath. The mosque was evacuated, and services interrupted, so that they could receive treatment.

Is there a connection between the attack and the distribution of the Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West DVD? Millions of the documentary DVDs have been distributed via mail and newspaper inserts in swing states, including Ohio.

And where is the mainstream media on this story? How can a chemical attack against children not warrant a mention by major news channels or newspapers?

In fact, where's the coverage of the Islamic world in general, that doesn't devolve into stereotyping about terrorists?

Malalai Kakar, Afghanistan's most famous policewoman, was killed last week by two armed men in a drive-by shooting. The Taliban claimed responsibility for her death, in a perverse strike for equality by recognizing her importance in the fight against the terrorist organization. Egypt has completed a study revealing how widespread sexual harassment is. 62 percent of Egyptian men admit to sexually harassing women, and 83 percent of Egyptian women reported being harassed, half on a daily basis.
