Celebrate Love Your Body Day!
On the Love Your Body campaign website you will find fun ideas for celebrating Love Your Body Day any day. On that site, you can also send a free Love Your Body e-card to friends and family or order other body-positive products. You can order up to 25 free posters (as featured on the cover of Ms. Magazine) for your organization. The December 1 deadline is fast approaching in the contest to pick next year's poster. The contest guidelines are online. Check out the slide show "Sex, Stereotypes and Beauty: The ABCs and Ds of Commercial Images of Women" and share it with others.

California's Family PACT program is in jeopardy! Family PACT is California's family planning program that has provided contraception, STD screening and cervical cancer screening to millions of low-income Californians for the last nine years. It will begin impacting access to contraception for low-income Californians starting October 16. Please join us in urgently asking Nancy Pelosi to secure an extension of this critical family planning program waiver. Without this "family planning waiver" fix, California would lose this model program, which has bi-partisan support and documented success in saving the state money by preventing unintended pregnancy and the spread of infection.
