FYI: This is What Sexism Looks Like

For everyone out there who seems to think that criticizing Palin on the issues, or suggesting that maybe she doesn't have the experience to be VP, is sexist, here's a look at some real sexism for you. And yes, we oppose sexism directed at Sarah Palin, and will continue to defend her from it. Read this post at Feministing for a great breakdown on why the sexism directed at Palin is just the flip-side of that faced by Hillary Clinton.

There are two images that are after the "read more" link that are offensive enough that we don't want them on our front page, but we think it's important to show how bad it's gotten.

The bikini one has been around for a while, but now we can see the real image it was photoshopped from.

And you'd think Reuters could manage to get shots of Sarah Palin's supporters without focussing on her legs. Here's a link to their pictures from the October 8 rally.

Well, I assume this one should be included as well. One of over a hundred posts about Biden's hairplugs -- and that is just in the last year. Sexist?

Interesting point, all-remixamerica, I don't think I saw any of the hairplug posts. Still, I think there's been a lot more focus on Palin's looks than on Biden's.
