AB 437, the California Pay Equity bill sponsored by Assemblymember Dave Jones that we told you about yesterday has passed the State Senate by a vote of 22-17!
Thanks to all of you who took action on this important bill to remedy the disastrous Supreme Court decision in the Ledbetter case.
The bill now goes to Assembly for concurrence, and then to the Governor for signature. Since Schwarzenegger's veto threat still stands until there is a state budget, the bill will be held once it has assembly concurrance.
