Click-activism to Help DV Survivors

Clicktoempower
Sometimes taking action is as easy as a click. The Allstate Foundation is making it that easy to help women who have survived domestic violence situations get the job training and education they need to move on.

For many domestic violence survivors, economic empowerment is critical to their long term self-sufficiency. The Education and Job Training Assistance Fund enables survivors to pursue long-term financial security by providing much needed financial assistance for education, training and job-related expenses such as books and supplies for school, tuition and registration fees.

All you have to do is visit the Foundation's "Click to Empower" website and click on the button that says "Click to Empower Now." For every click received, the Foundation will donate one dollar. So far they've raised over $200,000 of their $300,00 goal! Get clicking!

Thanks for NewWaveGrrl for this.
