Join with us to announce loud and clear that CA NOW is the Movement for ALL WAVES in advancing Women & Girls of California through grassroots activism, consciousness raising, electoral politics and legislation.

Start the day with the Mayor and end the day with Helen Reddy!  Lunch with Jill Soloway and Jessica Valenti.   Eight of the CA NOW Committees will present their Woman in the Public Eye.  Meet Vicky Barker, the legal Director of the California Women's Law Center; Ausma Kahn, editor of Muslim Girl Magazine; Mary Hunt, author of In Women We Trust; Kimberly Pinkson, founder of the Ecomom Alliance; Nina Hartley, renown porn star; Susan Davis, producer of The Invisible Women; Frances Fisher, film actress and member of the Peace Alliance.  Spend the evening at a private party at the Viper Room with Nellie Mckay. 

Each of these Women in the Public Eye has been or will be written about on our home page blog site.  It is going to be a terrific day celebrating Women.
